Sempra Energy has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Mitsui & Co. Ltd reflecting the parties’ preliminary agreement for Mitsui’s participation in the Cameron LNG Phase 2 project and a future expansion of the Energía Costa Azul LNG project.
According to Reuters, Infraestructura Energetica Nova SAB de CV – a unit of Sempra Energy – expects to make a final investment decision to construct the first phase of its Costa Azul LNG facility in early next year.
