Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore (GM&TS) – a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom Marketing and Trading – has announced that it has signed an LNG sale and purchase agreement with Pavilion Gas. The deal will be effective for 10 years, and stipulates LNG supplies from Gazprom’s portfolio to Asian countries, including Singapore. Pavilion Gas is subsidiary of Pavilion Energy – a state-owned Singaporean company – and is involved in LNG sales in South-eastern Asia.
Alexander Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, said: “Today’s agreement is a backbone of trading relations with Pavilion Gas, which extends our long-term cooperation with Singapore. This deal reinforces our positions in the Asian LNG market and supports our business strategy to further expand into emerging LNG markets.”
