According to Reuters, Galp Energia is currently holding a tender to sell between four and six Nigerian LNG cargoes per year for a five-year period.
The Portuguese corporation is a long-term purchaser of LNG from the Nigerian LNG project on Bonny Island. Recently, it has sought to offload some of its surplus LNG onto spot markets.
Reuters reports that it is possible that the tender will be awarded as early as the end of May 2016.
