According to Reuters, Sakhalin Energy – a joint venture (JV) LNG plant in Russia, which is collectively owned by Diamond Gas (10%), Japan Mitsui (12.5%), Shell (27.5%) and Gazprom (50%) – is planning to sell 18 LNG cargoes by 2018. This will be one of Sakhalin II’s largest LNG exports in recent memory.

Reuters, referencing trade sources, added that these 18 LNG cargoes will be divided into 6 per year, starting in 2016 and going into 2018, and that the tenders’ closing date is yet to be confirmed.
