Kuwait Petroleum Corp signs deal for long-term LNG supplies

Reuters are reporting that Kuwait’s oil minister has announced that Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has signed an agreement with an international company for long-term supply of LNG.

Bakheet al-Rashidi did not mention the name of the company, describing it as a leading player in the LNG sector. He is quoted as saying the agreement would help KPC meet rising demand for power generation in the Gulf Arab state.
