Boustany: LNG is America's energy future
Congressman Charles W. Boustany has welcomed news that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorised Cameron LNG to construct and operate a natural gas liquefaction and export facility in Louisiana.
Boustany said: “LNG is America’s energy future, and South Louisiana is leading the way. With a facility like the proposed Cameron LNG terminal in Hackberry, we have the capacity to become the global leader in LNG as demand continues to rise, providing jobs and opportunity to families across our state. This is a top priority of mine as South Louisiana’s Representative in Washington, and I will continue fighting to ensure these critical facilities are approved and built without delay.”
