Fourchon LNG receives DOE export authorisation

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has issued an order authorising Fourchon LNG LLC to export up to 260 billion ft3 per year of LNG by vessel from its proposed liquefaction facility to be located on Port Fourchon at Belle Pass in Lafourche Parish, La.

Fourchon LNG is authorised to export the LNG over a 30 year period to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) nations, and over a 20 year period to non-FTA nations.
