LNG Industry,
Golar LNG has announced that the Cameroon FLNG project has received both approval and signature of the binding tolling term sheet. This confirms the commercial basis for its floating LNG (FLNG) vessel, Golar Hilli. The state-owned Cameroonian oil and gas company, Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH), Perenco Cameroon (Perenco), and Golar are all part of the agreement.
This follows the announcement made in September 2015 that the project had received final approval from all parties of the Gas Convention for the project. Golar LNG confirms that operations are scheduled to be underway in the second quarter of 2017.
