Gazprom and PTT sign MoU

Gazprom has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding cooperation in the oil and gas industry with Thailand’s PTT. The MoU was signed by the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Alexey Miller, and the President and CEO of PTT, Tevin Vongvanich, in St Petersburg, Russia.
At a working meeting between Miller and Vongvanich, both parties discussed possible routes for cooperation, including in hydrocarbon development, joint LNG projects, LNG and LPG trading, and exchange of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Novatek also recently signed an MoU with PTT regarding cooperation and possible joint opportunities in the LNG industry.
The signing ceremony between PTT and Gazprom was attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha.
