Swift awarded Ichthys contract

According to Reuters, Swift Networks Group has been awarded a material contract by INPEX to provide entertainment, connectivity, maintenance and support services for the Ichthys LNG project.

Reuters reports that the Swift contract will initially run for a three-year period.

Recently, INPEX announced that it had completed the installation of the subsea infrastructure and equipment to extract gas and condensate from the Ichthys LNG project.

In the statement, the company said that the finalisation of the subsea installation signified that the project was now ready for the arrival of a central processing facility (CPF) and floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facilities, currently under commissioning in South Korea.

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has completed the independent verification of methane emissions measurements conducted on board four LNG-fuelled vessels operated by Brittany Ferries.
