LNG Industry,
According to recent reports, Petronas has purchased approximately 18 LNG cargoes from Galp Energia, the Portuguese utility.
The LNG cargoes are said to be of Nigerian origin.
Galp Energia had recently launched a tender to sell up to 30 LNG cargoes from the Bonny Island LNG liquefaction plant in Nigeria, over a period of five years.
Reports suggest Petronas has been awarded three years of that supply contract.
