Tetra Tech nets Kitimat LNG contract
Tetra Tech EBA has been awarded a contract by Fluor/JGC to carry out major site investigations for the proposed Kitimat LNG liquefaction facility at Bish Cove, near Kitimat, British Columbia.
The work involves detailed onshore geotechnical studies and foundation/seismic design for the liquefaction plant.
Kitimat LNG, a joint venture between Chevron Canada Limited and Apache Canada Ltd, is the most advanced of the proposed Western Canadian LNG projects and has the potential to be the first LNG project of its size in Canada to deliver LNG to Asia-Pacific markets.
