Venture Global LNG appoints Senior VP LNG Marketing

Venture Global LNG Inc. has appointed Stephen H. Del Regno as Senior Vice President LNG Marketing.
Del Regno, formerly head of marketing for Chevron’s North Asia LNG, will lead Venture Global LNG’s Asia marketing efforts from Tokyo, Japan
William M. Wicker, CEO of Venture Global LNG, said: “Steve comes to Venture Global LNG with extensive experience in the Asian energy markets […] He understands the intricate needs of Asia’s growing LNG market, and we are pleased to have another industry veteran expand our reach.”
While at Chevron, Del Regno led the marketing effort that successfully secured long-term sales contracts for the company’s two large Australian LNG projects.
Prior to joining Chevron, Del Regno was President of the El Paso Japan Company, where he was responsible for development of LNG, natural gas and gas-fired electric power assets. He was also accountable for originating opportunities for electricity marketing, gas marketing and trading businesses in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
Prior to the merger of Chevron and Texaco, he served as President of Texaco Natural Gas International (TNGI), where he directed commercial support for development of Texaco's discovered and prospective worldwide natural gas reserves.
