Sakhalin 2 sells LNG cargo to Mitsui

According to Reuters, the Sakhalin 2 LNG plant in Russia has sold an LNG cargo to Mitsui for loading on 16 March.

Three industry sources with knowledge of the matter claim the facility sold the cargo at approximately US$2.70/million Btu – US$2.80/million Btu.

The facility has a capacity of more than 10 million tpy. It has two trains, which were launched in 2009.
