Hony Capital increases stake in Santos

Santos has issued a short statement confirming that Hony Capital has acquired an additional 40 million shares in the company, representing a stake of 2.25%.
Hony Capital acquired the shares at a price of AUS$3.98 per share, increasing its interest in Santos to approximately 3.2%.
Santos said that the reported acquisition price represents an 11% premium to a closing price of AUS$3.58 on 10 November 2016.
