The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued a letter granting Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC and Sabine Pass LNG L.P. permission to introduce feed gas and refrigerants for commissioning of Train 3 at the liquefaction terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, US.
The approval is based on inspections from FERC staff and review of information filed by Sabine Pass in October 2016.
FERC emphasised that this permission does not grant Sabine Pass authorisation to introduce natural gas or process fluids into those areas not identified in its request.
