Wison and JMU to sign fuel tank agreement

Wison (Nantong) Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wison Offshore & Marine (WOM), has signed a strategic exclusive deal with Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU). The deal will allow WOM to fabricate and market the SPB® Containment System as a fuel tank.
Under this agreement, Wison will fabricate the SPB® Containment System with design and technical know-how from JMU. Together, the companies will provide a customised cost-saving solution for LNG storage schemes.
The SPB® technology, owned by JMU, is well known for its LNG storage reliability and robustness since its development by IHI Corp. in 1980s.
