First Yamal LNG Train to be launched in 2017

According to Reuters, Novatek is aiming to launch its first LNG Train for the Yamal LNG project in 2017. The Train will have a capacity of 5.5 million tpy of LNG, and will not require any extra financing.
Reuters reports that the Yamal LNG project is currently attempting to raise US$10 billion in external financing, which it is mainly sourcing from China.
Once complete, the Yamal LNG project should have three LNG Trains, with a total overall capacity of 16.5 million tpy of LNG.
