AusGroup subsidiary wins rope access contract for Ichthys LNG project

AusGroup Ltd has announced that its subsidiary, MAS Australasia Pty Ltd, has entered into an agreement with Clough Projects International for the supply of rope access trade services on the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project.

The contract supports the hook-up and pre-commissioning phase of the project’s central processing facility (CPF) and the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facilities.

MAS will be responsible for delivering the rope access trade activities necessary for the hook-up and pre-commissioning work, supporting both on and offshore pre-investment activities in Western Australia and South Korea.

JGC Corp. and Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd have been selected as the EPC contractor for a major low carbon LNG plant as part of the Papua LNG project planned by TotalEnergies and its venture partners in Papua New Guinea.
