Tokyo Gas signs HOA with Diamond Gas International

Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd has announced that it has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Diamond Gas International Pte. Ltd – a fully owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp – for the sale and purchase of LNG from the Cameron LNG project.
Diamond Gas will handle approximately 4 million tpy of LNG from the US plant. Tokyo Gas will then purchase approximately 200 000 t of LNG from Diamond Gas at a price linked to the US gas market. Starting in 2020, Tokyo Gas will purchase approximately 2.12 million tpy of LNG at a Henry Hub-linked price, in order to further diversify its LNG sources, price indices and destinations.
