Cove Point LNG to begin LNG production in November

Dominion Energy is expected to begin LNG production at its Cove Point LNG terminal in Lusby, Md. in November 2017.
Dominion Energy CEO Thomas Farrell commented that “the Cove Point Liquefaction construction is effectively complete and the facility is going through its advanced-commissioning phase.”
Once service commences, Cove Point will be the second US exporter of LNG produced from shale gas.
Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, La. is the first such exporter.
