Iran to supply Omani LNG projects
Iran’s Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, said that Iran would soon begin exporting gas to Oman as part of an agreement between the two countries. The agreement, worth 20 million m3/day, recognises a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the countries in September last year. The transported gas is expected to supply LNG liquefaction plants in Oman.
"Gas negotiations with Oman are over and as both sides have agreed Iran will export 20 million m3/day of gas to Oman in the near future," Zanganeh said, according Iranian news agency Fars.
