Wison Offshore & Marine celebrates FSRU keel-laying

Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd has held a ceremony to celebrate the keel-laying of the Exmar FSRU project, a barged-based floating LNG (FLNG) regasification unit, in its dry-dock in Nantong, China.
Wison Offshore & Marine will provide Exmar with the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) solution for the project.
The FSRU will be equipped with two regasification plants with 400 million ft3/d and 200 million ft3/d regasification capacity, respectively. Two SPB cargo tanks will be installed in the hull for LNG storage.
Mr An Wenxin, Senior Vice President of Wison Offshore & Marine, said: “We highly appreciate the trust and support extended by Exmar during the project execution. It is with our joint efforts that we can celebrate the keel-laying today, which marks the project execution entering a new stage. We’re confident the project will achieve its final success.”
