Video: construction of PFLNG SATU

Petronas has released a video showcasing its new floating LNG (FLNG) unit. The PFLNG SATU has a production capacity of 1.2 million tpy of LNG, and was named at a ceremony in early March 2016 at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering’s (DMSE) shipyard in Okpo, South Korea. It will be moored at Malaysia’s Kanowit gas field, which is located 180 km offshore Sarawak. Footage and details of construction are included in the video, which can be viewed below.
