Elengy has announced that it is to consider constructing a new truck loading facility at the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal, due to a significant increase in booked capacity.

The company said that the new facility could at least double the current capacity of 70 loading operations per week, depending on its configuration.A decision on whether to construct the facility will be taken by the second semester of 2016. Elengy confirmed that it is open to discussing this new facility with interested parties, who should express their interest before 25 July 2016. These discussions will include the proposed capacity and deadline, and any related matter.

The proposed facility would be in operation by the winter of 2017.

The Montoir LNG truck loading service has been growing since it was launched in 2013. Capacity at the facility was increased in 2015, when Elengy loaded more than 1100 trucks.
