The Solbus Solcity 12 LNG buses were presented to potential customers, users and municipal authorities in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia.
Gazprom Germania’s mobile refuelling station performed the LNG fuelling process, filling the buses 367 litre tanks with approximately 35 kg of LNG (maximum capacity 320 kg).
Tobias Noack, Gazprom Germania, explained the economical and environmental benefits of the LNG technology and announced that he was looking forward to introducing this new alternative to the Slovakian public transport sector through a demonstration project.
The Solbus Solcity 12 LNG buses and mobile refuelling station will also be demonstrated to potential customers in the towns of Zvolen, Prievidza and Trnava. The LNG buses will be integrated and tested in the daily operation of different Slovakian bus operators, so that they can experience the benefits of LNG-fuelled buses.
