ENN Canada has provided fuel to its 1000th customer at the company’s new LNG station in Chilliwack.

The LNG station is open 24/7 and is positioned on Highway 1, one of the busiest trucking corridors in British Columbia.

ENN Canada CEO, Henry Cai, commented: “This is an important milestone not only for ENN Canada but for the LNG industry in B.C. With 1000 trucks filled in under two months, it is clear the B.C. trucking industry has embraced LNG as a safer, cleaner and cost competitive alternative to diesel.”

Cai added that “on average, LNG is 30-40% less expensive than diesel and produces up to 25% less emissions.”

Arrow Transportation Systems

Station customer, Arrow Transportation Systems, recently made the transition to fuel its fleet with LNG. "We are very pleased to partner with ENN on this project. It is important for Arrow to always explore new ways to operate our business more efficiently and environmentally,” commented Tim Bell, VP of Arrow Transportation Systems.

“ENN has worked closely with us to reduce the challenges in transitioning to this technology by providing full-service LNG stations that are operated by highly trained attendants. We have high hopes for the LNG initiative in the long term and look forward to continuing this partnership with ENN into the future,” Bell continued.

Since opening in February 2014, the Chilliwack station has continued to grow a diverse base of trucking clients including Arrow and Sutco. All of the ENN LNG stations are full-service and operated by highly trained station attendants and technicians.

Cai concluded: “We chose this location because we had confidence in British Columbia, and the B.C. trucking industry, that they were eager to embrace B.C. Natural Gas. Their confidence in adopting this technology has been critical to our early success, and we’re committed to building additional stations across the Province as demand continue to increase”.
