Gazprom discusses Russian gas supplies to France

The Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Alexey Miller, recently met with Jean-Pierre Jouyet, Chief of Staff of President of France, and Emmanuel Macron, French Minister of the Economy, Industry and the Digital Sector, to discuss Russian-French cooperation in the natural gas industry.
The working meeting is said to have focused on Russian gas supplies to France. During the meeting, Mr Miller noted that Russian gas exports to France had grown by almost 800 million m3 since the beginning of the year, which is more than one and a half times higher compared to the previous year.
Gazprom also announced that Mr Miller held another meeting with the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE, Isabelle Kocher. The meeting addressed the ongoing bilateral cooperation and its prospects, with special attention to the Nord Stream 2 project.
