Dapeng marks anniversary of LNG terminal

Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company has marked the 10th anniversary of operations at its LNG terminal.
On 26 May 2006, the Northwest Seaeagle LNG carrier berthed at LNG wharf on the LNG terminal.
Ten years later, celebrations have been held to mark the arrival of the Onaiza Q-Flex LNG carrier. In total, the LNG terminal has safely unloaded ships 720 times and has received over 48 million t of LNG.
In a statement, Dapeng said that it has been exploring new ideas and methods with regards to safety management based on its actual conditions, in order to ensure the safe and smooth unloading of LNG carriers. Dapeng said that it has managed to improve the emergency response capability of terminal management staff and ensured the safe and reliable operation of the terminal, through a number of methods.
