GAIL to continue work on Kochi-Mangalore pipeline

GAIL (India) Ltd has announced that the Supreme Court has given it the green light to continue work on the Kochi-Mangalore pipeline project.

Work will now continue on a 310 km stretch of the pipeline, which will deliver gas from the Kochi LNG terminal and passes through the state of Tamil Nadu, India. When complete, the project will supply natural gas, which is crucial for the economic growth of the region.
