Fosmax LNG has announced that the French Energy Regulatory (CRE) has approved the commercial principles of its new transhipment service.
Fosmax LNG plans to offer the transhipment service in 2H15. Two vessels will be moored in double banking alongside the jetty and connected by hoses.
According to Fosmax LNG, this transhipment service offers a number of benefits compared to open sea ship-to-ship operations, including availability, safety and efficiency.
