Fosmax LNG offers terminal reloading service

LNG Industry,

Fosmax LNG, owner of the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal located at Fos-sur-Mer near the Cavaou peninsula in southern France, is now offering customers a top grade reloading service for ships with a capacity of up to 200,000 m3. The new service reloads at 4000 m3/hour, compared to the previous 1250 m3/hour.

In preparation for this service, the terminal was completely shut down between 20 June and 10 July to allow workers to set up the new pipelines and to fit the relevant valves for the reloading service.

The Fos Cavaou LNG terminal, which opened in 2010 and has a regasification capacity of 8.25G m3, has unloaded over 220 LNG carriers and performed as many as 11 reloading operations since December 2012.
