LNG tanker collides with berth at Sakhalin Energy project

According to Reuters, the LNG tanker Grand Elena has collided with a berth at the Sakhalin Energy project in Russia.

The tanker was carrying 145 000 m3 of LNG at the time of the incident. Its departure from the facility has been delayed as a result of the collision.

According to the statement released by Sakhalin Energy, there were no injuries, damage or impact on production. The vessel is simply being delayed while an investigation is carried out.
