Earlier this year, China’s largest LNG carrier, Pan Asia, undocked at the Hudong Zhonghua shipyard in Shanghai. This is the first LNG carrier for the Pan Union LNG project.
Arca Regler GmbH provided the compressor anti-surge valves for the reliquefaction system on the LNG carrier. The company has delivered three batches of anti-surge valves for the LNG carrier, which is set to undergo final testing between Jnauary and March 2017 before it starts transporting Australian LNG to China.
The anti-surge valves will help to avoid surging, which will help to protect the safety of the compressor unit.
