LNG Industry,
Fosmax LNG has announced that it will offer transhipment services at the Fos Cavaou LNG terminal in France as of 1 December 2015.
This follows the partnership agreement between Fosmax and Teekay Marine Solutions Ltd and will enable Fosmax’s clients to transfer LNG with cryogenic hoses through mooring two ships in double banking along the terminal jetty.
Furthermore, greater operational and environmental efficiency will be ensured because the terminal will manage all boil-off gas (BOG) generated in the operation.
The Fos Cavaou LNG terminal offers good metocean conditions for transhipment services, as the jetty is protected from swell.
