GTT receives AIP for multigas vessels
GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) has received an Approval In Principle (AIP) from CCS (China Classification Society), for its design of multigas vessels.
This new AIP confirms that GTT's membrane systems are not limited to the transport of LNG, however stretches to other liquefied gases, such as ethane, ethylene, propane, butane and propylene.
GTT Chairman and CEO Philippe Berterottière, received the AIP certification in Beijing, from CCS Chairman and President Sun Licheng, at the CCS Seminar, held in Beijing on 23 October.
Philippe Berterottière commented: "We are delighted to receive this new approval reflecting the partnership between Chinese Classification Society and GTT, and showing the strong willingness for both parties to work together in building the future for liquid gas transportation."
