BW appoints new Group CEO

BW has appointed Carsten Mortensen as Group CEO.
Current BW Group CEO, Andreas Sohmen-Pao, who will join the BW Group Board of Directors, commented: “Carsten is an outstanding leader in the maritime sector and is an ideal candidate to lead BW into the next phase of growth.”
Mr Sohmen-Pao will remain actively involved in the group, including on the board of subsidiaries BW Offshore, BW LPG and BW Pacific.
