LNG Industry,
Evergas has added two ‘dragon class’ 27 500 m3 multigas LNG carriers to its fleet, both of which have been named during a ceremony held at the Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering shipyard in Qidong, China. Created in collaboration with INEOS, the vessels are the largest and are amongst the most advanced multigas carriers to date.
Dragons used to symbolise Chinese and Western heritage
Whilst both vessels, Js Ineos Insight and Js Ineos Ingenuity, bear a distinct dragon symbolising their Chinese and Western heritage, the dragons used to sail and protect the vessels differ. The dragon chosen for Js Ineos Insight is the King of Fire, reflecting a strong, vigorous and steadfast future whilst the Js Ineos Ingenuity utilises the King of Water, reflecting strong fortunes for the future.
