Awilco LNG sells LNG carrier

Awilco LNG ASA has entered an agreement to sell the WilPower LNG carrier to an undisclosed buyer.
The 125 000 m3 LNG carrier has been in cold lay-up since May 2013. Delivery of the LNG carrier is expected to take place in August 2015, and settlement of the sales proceeds is due upon delivery of the vessel.
A statement on Awilco LNG’s website said: “The sale will contribute with an estimated loss of US$3 million in Awilco LNG’s 2015 financial results.”
