Awilco LNG sells two LNG carriers

Awilco LNG has announced that it has entered into a binding agreement to sell two LNG carriers to an undisclosed buyer. Awilco LNG is a Norway-based pure play LNG transportation provider, which both owns and operates LNG vessels for international trade.
The 125 000 m3 WilGas and WilEnergy were built in 1984 and 1983, respectively.
Awilco claims that the vessels are expected to be delivered between 15 August and 15 September 2016. According to the terms of the contract, a 10% deposit will be paid by the vessels’ buyer shortly.
