EDF Trading appoints Senior LNG Marketer

EDF Trading, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF S.A., has appointed Al Garcia as its Senior LPG/LNG Marketer, effective 2 April 2015. Garcia will be based in Houston, Texas, US and will report to Christopher McKey, Head of Business Development.  

Garcia, who joins from C4U Trade USA Inc., will focus on the development of EDF Trading’s strategic relationships and growth opportunities in the Central and South American LPG and LNG markets.   

“Al will be a great addition to our origination team.  He will work closely with our LPG and LNG desks in London to develop our capabilities in Central and South America,” said Philipp Büssenschütt, Chief Commercial Officer, Origination and Business Development.

Christopher McKey added: “Al has a wealth of experience in these markets. He has the right relationships and transactional skills to quickly move our LPG and LNG businesses forward.”
