Bourbon to acquire Evergas

Bourbon has announced that it is to acquire a number of companies currently owned by JACCAR Holdings for US$320 million. This will include 100% of Greenship Gas, a Singaporean owned shipping trust that comprises of 100% of Evergas, as well as a fleet of 17 vessels dedicated to the transport of ethane gas, ethylene and LNG.
The acquisition will also include 100% of Greenship Gas Manager Pte Ltd (manager of the Greenship Gas shipping trust) and 80% of JHW Engineering & Contracting Ltd.
The acquisition is expected to be completed on 26 May 2016, subject to ratification by shareholders. At this time, M. Jacques de Chateauvieux will be named Chairman and CEO of Bourbon.
