FERC issues notice to proceed with Elba Island dock facilities

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued Elba Liquefaction Co. LLC and Southern LNG Co. LLC a notice to proceed with the work related to the South Channel Barge Dock construction.
The notice to proceed includes dredging and in-water pile driving.
FERC added that the approval does not grant the companies the authority to commence construction of project facilities at the Elba Island LNG export terminal in in Chatham County, Georgia, US.
