Corpus Christi Liquefaction files May 2016 progress update

Corpus Christi Liquefaction LLC has filed its monthly construction report for April 2016 to the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

According to the report, engineering has progressed to 98%, procurement is now at 46.9% and Bechtel’s direct hire construction through April was 5.7%. As such, the total project has progressed to 33.5% complete.

During the month, engineering focused on continuing to update design for concrete for IAC, lighting plans, grounding plans and cable tray plans. Construction focused on progressing permanent plant concrete and steel, underground pipe, and above ground pipe.

Corpus Christi Liquefaction reported no lost time incidents during the month. The company also confirmed that planned activities for May 2016 are on track.
