The Sierra Club, a leading environmentalist group in North America, has filed a formal protest with the US DOE about Cameron LNG’s proposals to export LNG from its Lake Charles facility. The group has previously opposed four other LNG export plants.
PetroChina has begun work on the Tai'an plant in Eastern Shangdong province. The plant is scheduled for completion in late 2013 and will have a liquefaction capacity of 600 00 tpy of LNG.
