Wärtsilä Finland Oy appoint new Managing Director

Vesa Riihimäki has been appointed Managing Director of Wärtsilä Finland Oy and will take up his position on 1 February 2018. Riihimäki joined Wärtsilä in 1992.
Riihimäki will also continue in his role as Vice President, Wärtsilä Quality and Services QEHS, responsible for the quality of Wärtsilä’s products, solutions and processes globally. He is based in Vaasa, Finland.
Riihimäki succeeds Stefan Damlin, who will as of the same date assume the global position of Director, Project Management, Marine Power Solutions, and be based in Vaasa, Finland.
