LNG Industry,

According to Reuters, Golar LNG has announced that its FLNG project in Cameroon had achieved 100% commercial uptime.

Commissioning took place earlier this year and the project is due to offload its sixth cargo soon.

The Hilli Episeyo FLNG unit marks a significant pioneering achievement – the first LNG producing vessel converted from an ageing LNG carrier.

With the success of this project, Cameroon has now joined the small group of LNG exporting nations located all around the globe. The country’s first cargo was produced and shipped earlier this year in May.
