TMS Cardiff Gas agrees charter with Total for LNG carrier

TMS Cardiff Gas has announced that it has entered into a minimum seven-year time charter contract with Total Gas & Power Ltd. for one of its 11 newbuilding LNG X Carrier series vessels on order.
The 174 000 m3 vessel, with efficient XDF propulsion and subcooling system, is being constructed at Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI). The company is continuing its long-term employment strategy on its LNG vessels, and is looking to expand its portfolio with a 2022/23 timeframe.
