Reuters is reporting that Japan’s JGC Corp. and US based Fluor have won orders to design and build the LNG Canada project for an estimated US$14 billion.
Royal Dutch Shell, PetroChina, South Korea’s KOGAS, and Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp are all reportedly moving ahead on the long-stalled LNG project in Canada, encouraged by the recent rise in energy prices.
The project is on track for a final investment decision later in 2018.
