Gazprom discusses energy cooperation with Vietnam
Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Fam Suan Shon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Russia, held at meeting at the Gazprom headquarters, which addressed issues of energy cooperation.
“The parties praised the results of the joint exploration and production activities on the Vietnamese shelf and in Russia as well as expressed their satisfaction with the progress of a Vietnamese project for natural gas use as a vehicle fuel,” a statement from Gazprom read.
Russian LNG supply to Vietnam was also discussed, and both parties confirmed their willingness to cooperate, Gazprom said.
